Rahmania Foundation manages the donations to help orphans and neediest children for life survival and education on a routine basis by providing scholarships to approximately 500 orphans and poor children to enable them continue their education in the areas of Jakarta, Bogor, Tasikmalaya, Balaraja, Jogjakarta and Aceh. The funds are distributed quarterly to respective camps or locations. With only US$ 6 a month you could help one poor child to have a better future.

Rahmania also provides financial supports to 100+ poor Madrasah teachers in order to enable them to continue teaching the children. Rahmania also provide “Train the Trainer” program to upgrade the quality of the teachers in order to provide a better education standard for the children. The training program is collaborated with YASMIN. The scope of the program so far only covers Jabodetabek and Aceh

Every Thursday evening, Rahmania hosts a forum of gathering for the English speaking Muslim and Expatriates living in Jakarta. The session is a discussion on Islamic teachings and current issues in Islamic world, facilitated by a resource person or guest speaker.

This group also serves assistance to foreigners in Jakarta who are willing to know and learn about Islam. The consulting session can be done on that particular Thursday evening or in the different time with an appointment. Kindly contact our office for making an appointment.

This is an annual program during the holy month of Ramadhan, where Rahmania provides food for orphans and poor children in ± 35 poor communities around Jakarta (and surroundings – JaBoDeTaBek), West Java, and Aceh. Rahmania can arrange to hold this such program in other locations upon request by the donors. The donation packages consist of food and pocket money as the basic package however sometimes there are additional items depending on the sponsors.

Another annual program where Rahmania distributes cattle for Qurban to poor communities around JaBoDeTaBek and Aceh. Rahmania also can arrange to distribute cattle to other locations upon request by the donors.

Rahmania operates Vocational Training Center (VTC) in order to provide skills for the children/teenagers to be ready for employment or entrepreneurship or used for community development programs.

• VCT Cunda, Lhokseumawe, Aceh – mechanic for motorcycle training co-operation with Suzuki
• VCT Bireun, Aceh – Aceh International Training Center (AITC) – mechanic for automobile training
• VCT Blang Panyang – General purposes training – basic accountancy for madrasah, teacher upgrading, women empowerment program, etc
• VCT Trieng Gading – in cooperation with local NGO’s for community development program
